CURRICULUM

  • Reading and Writing Skills
  • Physical Education
  • Outdoor play
  • Science and Gardening
  • Faith Formation
  • English as a Second Language

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

  • TK offers children, who are not yet old enough to enter kindergarten, a head start on academic readiness.
  • It provides children a two year transition before entering first grade, giving them more time to develop social maturity.
  • TK at SHSC begins each year with 4 weeks of half days. This allows children and family adjust to the school year schedule and helps ease separation anxiety, which some children experience.
